The nice little Luscombe 8 weights only 860 pounds.   It is a fun airplane to fly.  In the video, watch how Darlene made the approach to the runway.  Basically she did a slip-dive.  During the deep slip, she looked through the moon roof window in order to aligh the plane to the runway.  A three-point landing is a must.
